Creating Bullet Journal with MS Word
Hi, everyone. This is a step-by-step tutorial that uses Microsoft Word to create your own bullet journal. It is very hard to get squares or dots paper in the place I live, and my calligraphy is not good. Therefore, using MS Word is an easy way for me to create a tidy and beautiful bullet journal. By using MS Word, I can create the paper pattern I want and enter the font type I like. And the most important thing is that, everything is neatly arranged.
Let's get started!
Step 1:
First of all, open your MS Word and change the page layout to "narrow".
"Page layout" -> "Margins" -> "Narrow"Step 2:
Next, use the watermark feature to add paper pattern.
"Design" -> "Page background" -> "Watermark" -> "Custom watermark ..."Step 3:
Use picture watermark to create the background.
Select " Picture watermark" -> "Select picture..." and choose the pattern you want. You can change the scale to fit the page. (Note that, increase the scale will also increase the distance between dots or squares.)
If you want the pattern to show on the paper, do not select "Washout". And then click "Apply" -> "OK".Step 4:
I have chose dots pattern as the page background. Now you can start DIY your bullet journal with different fonts types, shapes and so on. You may also add some doodles before printing.
PS:
The font types are downloaded from "1001 Fonts". www.1001fonts.com
If you need the paper pattern image, please send me an email at somemadegstudies@gmail.com. I have two patterns available:
